Work Order Workflow Configuration
Workflow option: States
The workflow that is responsible for creating and filling work orders is broken-down into various
stages of completion called
S
TATES
. Each state is associated with
T
RANSITIONS
(actions) that
advance the work order to the next state (stage of completion).
When
S
TATES
is selected from the
W
ORKFLOW
OPTION
drop-down list, the Workflow page
displays the available states that have been defined for the current work order workflow.

START
- The work order/job is created.
•
P
ENDING
- The work order/job has been created, but has not yet been assigned to a user.
•
I
N
P
ROGRESS
- The work order/job is currently being worked on.
•
P
ENDING
A
PPROVAL
- The work order/job has been submitted and is awaiting approval.
•
C
OMPLETE
- The work order/job has been approved and is about to be released.
•
FINAL
- The work order/job is ready to be used.
