physical shock.

OPERATION

Controls

Transmitters are custom labeled, and may be equipped with a
“SHIFT” or “ALT” button to provide multiple functions for each
button. Take time to become familiar with the operation and
arrangement of the buttons before operating equipment.

Batteries

Th

e T-5 transmitter operates from a standard 9-volt battery. Th

 e T-

5-SM transmitter operates from a pair of “AAA” batteries. Alkaline
batteries generally provide longest life. If rechargeable batteries are
used, NiMH type are recommended. T-5 Batteries are accessible
by a battery compartment door on the back of the transmitter. T-5
batteries are inside of the transmitter. A small phillips screwdriver
is needed to replace T-5-SM batteries. To ensure maximum battery
life, be sure to turn the transmitter OFF when not in use. Remove
batteries prior to shipping or storing transmitter.

Transmitter/Receiver Matching

Transmitters and receivers are shipped from the factory as matched
pairs. If a new transmitter is to be used, it must be trained to
operate the receiver.

Training procedure:

1. Power on transmitter and receiver.

2. Press “LEARN” button on receiver.

3. Operate transmitter normally.
