Phoning
Activating discreet ring
You do not want to be disturbed by the ring of the phone. You do not, how-
ever, want to switch off the phone.
As an alternative to the usual ring, your phone has a discreet ring option. If
you have activated discreet ring, the phone only rings once.
This function must be saved to a function key over the Self Service Portal
(see "Configuring or deleting a key assignment", page 88).
Activating do not disturb
You do not want to receive any calls for the time being.
With the do not disturb function, you can stop calls being made to you if
you are busy in a call or are not otherwise able to take any calls. Your
phone does not ring and is set to busy for incoming calls. Your incoming
calls are automatically forwarded to a call forwarding destination that has
been configured by your system administrator.
Your system administrator must enable this function in the MiVoice
Office 400 communication system.
