IP media module
IP media modules can be used for systems with high call switching requirements in
the IP network. Depending on the module type a different number of VoIP and FoIP
channels is available, provided by the IP media modules as required (see
).
Note
The use of the IP media switch does not depend on the mode of opera-
tion of the standard media switch and the configuration of the DSP chips
that are used by the standard media switch.

IP media modules can be fitted both on the processor card CPU1 (see

the 1PRI and 2PRI trunk cards (see
). The modules are
not
stackable.
