DVI setting
When an HDCP signal such as Blu-ray images is not
displayed correctly, the “DVI mode” ON setting may
improve it. If it doesn’t help such as just showing a
sandstorm screen, adding the “HDCP mode” may
improve it. The initial setting is OFF.
The ON setting of the “DVI mode” may take
longer time to switch the input port. Set it off
when the input signal is not an HDCP signal.
Emphasis/Equalizer
Adjust the picture quality in the following way when
a transmission attenuation phenomenon is
noticeable such as periodic loss of synchronization
due to long image transmission cables between a
control unit and LED units.
The initial setting is 2 in Emphasis and 1 in Equalizer.
1.
Leave the Emphasis setting 2.
2.
Check the “Display test image” box to show the
image for adjustment.
3.
Change the Equalizer value on the LED unit
that is directly connected to the control unit
from 0 through 3 and check each picture
quality. It is the optimum value that shows the
correct image without corruption even if you
shift the value to adjacent figures.
Case 1: Set the Equalizer value 1 when the
image is correctly displayed in Equalizer 0, 1 and
2.
Case 2: Set the Equalizer value 0 when the
image is correctly displayed in Equalizer 0 and
1 but not in Equalizer 2.

If it doesn’t help, then try changing the
Emphasis value and redo the step 2 to seek the
optimum value.
The Equalizer function is only effective on the LED
unit that is directly connected to the control unit.
Other LED units cannot be selected in the initial
setting.
These menus set the equal effect on both paths
of the two-way image transmission (p. 10) on
the LED units.
The adjusted Equalizer and the Emphasis values
will be stored in the LED unit and the control unit
respectively.
The “detailed Settings” box is generally
unnecessary to check. Checking the box enables
you to select other LED units.
