Function assignment of external terminal and control
4.11.3 Condition selection of function validity by Second function selection (RT) signal
When the RT signal turns ON, the second function becomes valid.
For the RT signal, set "3" in any of
Pr. 178 to Pr. 182 (input terminal function selection)
to assign the function.
The second function has the following applications.
(a) Switching between normal use and emergency use
(b) Switching between heavy load and light load
(c) Changing of acceleration/deceleration time by broken line acceleration/deceleration
When the RT signal is ON, the following second functions are selected at the same time.
CAUTION
A PM motor is a magnet motor. High-voltage is generated at motor terminals while the motor is running.
Do not touch motor terminals and other parts until the motor stops to prevent an electric shock.
Parameters referred to
Pr. 178 to Pr. 182 (input terminal function selection)
You can select the second function using the RT signal.

(input terminal function selection)
may affect the other
functions. Set parameters after confirming the function of each terminal.
