(1) Connection diagram
(2) Precautions when preparing a cable
(a) Cable length
The maximum distance (between GOT and
controllers) of RS-422 cable must be 13m or less.
(b) Connector conversion box side connector
For the Connector conversion box side connector,
refer to the following.
(c) YASKAWA PLC side connector
Use the connector compatible with the YASKAWA
PLC side module.
For details, refer to the user's manuals for
YASKAWA PLC.
(3) Connecting terminating resistors
(a) GOT side
When connecting a PLC to the GOT, a terminating
resistor must be connected to the GOT.
Set the terminating resistor setting switch of the
GOT main unit to "Disable".
For the procedure to set the terminating resistor,
refer to the following.
(b) YASKAWA PLC side
When connecting a YASKAWA PLC to a GOT,
connect a terminating resistor to the YASKAWA
PLC if required.

The terminating resistor (120
) is valid by connecting pin
1 with pin 4 and pin 5 with pin 6 of the YASKAWA PLC
