Do not stack food higher than the height of the vegetable case (lower) or vegetable case (upper).
The food or the vegetable case (upper) may be damaged, or the door may not fully close, resulting in frost formation or
incomplete freezing.
●
Do not allow water to contact the Vitamin Factory Fresh LEDs or attempt to disassemble them.
●
If the 3-color Vitamin Factory Fresh LED is damaged, contact MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC SERVICE CENTER or its
service agent for the replacement, in order to avoid a hazard.
●
To prevent discoloration of the plastic parts, store cut citrus fruits in plastic wrap or containers.
Vitamin Factory Fresh
The combination of 3-color LEDs increases vegetable vitamin C content and promotes greening.
It is effective with leaf vegetables and other vegetables that contain chlorophyll.
●
It is not necessary to remove the packaging except for wrapping that blocks light (such as
newspaper or colored paper).
●
There are no particular vegetables, fruits, beverages, seasonings, or other items which cannot be stored while this is set.
●
Wrapping foods in plastic wrap will help retain moisture and keep them even fresher.
●
Vegetable nutrients (such as vitamin C) will not increase continually. The storage properties will also vary
depending on the freshness at the time of purchase. Use vegetables while they are as fresh as possible.
●
If many leaf vegetables are stored, the moisture from the leaves will increase the humidity, and
condensation or frost may occur on the ceiling of the vegetable compartment or the surfaces of each
case. If condensation forms, wipe it off with a dry cloth.
●
The effects vary depending on the vegetable position, amount stored, vegetable type, and the conditions
of the vegetable at the time it was stored.
●
The Vitamin Factory Fresh LEDs illuminate
when the door is closed. They turn off when the door is opened.

There is a heater on the bottom of the vegetable compartment that keeps the compartment at a constant temperature.
The heater may activate in wintertime and at other times when the ambient temperature is low, and the bottom of the
case may become hot.
Setting Vitamin Factory Fresh
* Vitamin Factory Fresh is not initially set at the time of purchase.
Keeps vegetables fresh, promotes greening, and increases the vitamin C content, which
ordinarily diminishes during storage.
