Does noise/vibration occur when the
cooling/heating operation is in
anomalous condition?
From previous page
YES
If insufficient cooling/
heating problem happens
due to anomalous operating
conditions at cooling/
heating, followings are
suspicious.
• Overcharge of refrigerant
• Insufficient charge of
refrigerant
• Intrusion of air, nitrogen,
etc.
In such occasion, it is
necessary to recover
refrigerant, vacuum-dry
and recharge refrigerant.
* Since there could be
many causes of noise/
vibration, the above do not
cover all.
In such case, check the
conditions when, where,
how the noise/vibration
occurs according to
following check point.
• Indoor/outdoor unit
• Cooling/heating/fan
mode
• Startup/stop/during
operation
• Operating condition
(Indoor/outdoor
temperatures, pressure)
• Time it occurred
• Operation data retained
by the remote control
such as compressor
rotation speed, heat
exchanger temperature,
EEV opening degree, etc.
• Tone (If available, record
the noise)
• Any other anomalies
