Setting the emergency recording (EMERGENCY REC)
ON
: Starts alarm recording when the ALM IN terminal is
grounded while the VCR is recording, in stop mode,
turned off or in stand-by mode for timer recording.
OFF
: Starts alarm recording when the ALM IN terminal is
grounded during recording.
Setting the clog detection (CLOG DETECT)
ON
: The VCR automatically removes any particles that
may accumulate on the heads during the recording at
48H-1280H or 0H (SP mode), 120-1280H or 0H (EP
mode). If it cannot be entirely removed, a warning
“CLOg” flashes on the fluorescent display (
page
36).
OFF
: The VCR does not detect clogged head.
Setting the tape speed (REC MODE)
NORMAL<SP>
: Higher in picture quality.
