Replacement of Coolant
(1) Open the hood and remove the radiator cap.
(2) Remove the side cover on right, remove the
engine side coolant water hose, and drain
the coolant water. Remove the reserve tank
to drain the water of the reserve tank.
(3) After connecting the coolant water hose,
supply tap water, start the engine, and
operate it for 15 minutes approximately at
high idling to drain the water.
Repeat washing with water until the drained
water is clear if it is cloudy.
- Use the commercial radiator cleaning
agent to clean effectively.
(4) Connecting the coolant water hose when
draining is completed. Supply the coolant
water to the maximum point of the filler
opening of the radiator and close the radiator
cap.

(5) Supply the coolant water to the <MAX>
(upper limit) of the reserve tank.
- When the coolant water is cooled, the
coolant water in the reserve tank is
sucked in, and the water level is reduced
in the reserve tank; thus, supply the
coolant water to the <MAX> (upper limit)
of the reserve tank.
- Use antifreeze “long-life coolant”
containing anticorrosive agent and
lubricating agent for the coolant water in
order to prevent corrosion inside the
engine and radiator.
NOTE
- Use freshwater for the coolant water. Do not
use muddy water or briny water.
- The coolant water may be frozen in the
winter, and it may damage the engine or
radiator. Mix it with antifreeze “long-life
coolant” for use.
- Read the instruction manual of the cleaning
agent thoroughly when using cleaning
agent for the radiator.
- Replace the coolant water and clean inside
the radiator every two years.
