2.2 Installation
2.2.1 Unpacking

The robot is shipped from the factory in cardboard and plywood packing. Always refer to
and unpack the
robot.
Handle the robot arm according to
"2.2.2Transportation procedures(Transportation by people)"
Always unpack the robot at a flat place. The robot could tilt over if unpacked at an
unstable place.
The unpacking process is shown below.
1) The cardboard box is toppled over horizontally slowly. Take care so that a shock may not be given (
(a))
2) Using a knife, etc., slit the tape fixing the upper lid of the cardboard box.
3) Pull out inner box horizontally with the handle. (
4) Raise the inner box and the robot simultaneously. (

5) Remove the robot from the inner box. (

CAUTION
!
Always unpack the
robot at a flat place.
The robot could tilt
over if unpacked at an
unstable place.
