TRIPOLE

®

OR DIPOLE OPERATION (CS-150 ONLY)

To operate in the Tripole

®

mode, the jumper between the terminals labeled "3" and "4" must be in place. To

operate the speaker in the Dipole mode, the jumper between the terminals labeled "3" and "4" must be removed.
Do not throw away or lose this jumper. See Figures 3 and 4.

VERY IMPORTANT:

The sensitivity of the speaker is slightly higher in the Tripole

®

position. For

critical listening, when switching from one mode to another, you should re-calibrate the level of the
surround channels.

5. SPEAKER PLACEMENT

The Column Surround speaker takes a unique new approach to producing high-quality sound from the

surround channels in the listening room. Conventional surround speakers must be mounted on the side walls,
back wall, or ceiling of the room in order to produce good sound. But the Column Surround speaker can be
located virtually anywhere in the room to produce a very effective coverage of sound.
