SELECT A NICE, CLEAN, SMOOTH CAMPSITE. SHARP STONES
OR STICKS MAY PUNCTURE THE FLOOR OF YOUR TENT. FACE
THE DOOR OF THE TENT IN THE DESIRED DIRECTION. STAKE
ONE FRONT CORNER OF THE TENT FLOOR. THEN PULL THE
OPPOSITE FRONT CORNER TAUGHT BUT NOT OVERLY TIGHT
AND STAKE THAT CORNER. THEN DO THIS TO THE REAR
CORNERS. THEN ALL STAKES MAY BE DRIVEN THROUGH THE
REMAINING STAKE LOOPS.

SEPARATE ALL ALL THE METAL TENT POLES INTO LIKE POLES
OR INTO COLOR CODED POLE GROUPS. SOME POLES MAY BE
IDENTIFIED BY THE ALPHABET CHARACTER AFFIXED ON THE
POLES.. THE CENTER UPRIGHT POLES WILL BE ADJUSTABLE
AND MATE INTO EACH OTHER. THE AWNING POLES WILL HAVE
A POINTED TIP FOR THE AWNING GROMMET.

INSERT ONE RIDGE POLE ASSEMBLY INTO THE CENTER POLE
SLEEVE OF THE TENT. THEN REPEAT THIS BY THREADING THE
OTHER TWO RIDGE POLE ASSEMBLIES THROUGH THE FRONT
AND REAR POLE LOOPS IN THE WHITE ROOF. DO NOT BECOME
ALARMED IF THE CORNER WEBBING LOOPS DO NOT REACH
TO THE “C” CLIPS MOUNTED ON THE CORNER ELBOWS. THESE
ARE USED TO SPREAD OUT THE ROOF AND PREVENT THE
WIND FROM BLOWING THE CORNER OF THE TENT. IF THE ROOF
IS TOO TIGHT, SIMPLY FASTEN THE CORNER IN THE DIRECT OF
ANY STRONG WIND.

AFTER ALL THREE OF THE ROOF RIDGE POLES ARE FIXED,
TAKE THE ASSEMBLED TWO CENTER UPRIGHT POLES (WITH
THE UPPER SECTIONS TELESCOPED INTO THE LOWER
ADJUSTABLE, LARGER POLES-SEE ILLUSTRATION ON BACK)

INSERT THE UPPER, SWEDGED OR REDUCED ENDS INTO THE
RIDGE ELBOW POLE. THEN PUSH UP THE CENTER OF THE
TENT - BUT NOT TOO STRAINED. THE TENT SHOULD STAND
EASY AT THE POINT. FINAL ADJUSTMENT SHOULD COME LATER.

THE FRONT WALL OF THE TENT IS HIGHER THAN THE REAR
WALL. TAKE THE TWO LONGEST STRAIGHT POLE SETS AND
PLACE THE SWEDGED OR REDUCED ENDS INTO THE ROOF
ELBOW POLES. SLIDE THE LOWER ENDS OF THE POLES
TOWARD THE FRONT OF THE TENT TO RAISE THE FRONT WALL.
REPEAT THIS AT THE REAR WITH THE REMAINING PAIR OF
SHORTER SIDE UPRIGHT POLES.

NOW THE TENT SHOULD BE STANDING RATHER WELL AND MAY NEED
SOME MINOR ADJUSTMENT. FIRST CHECK THE FLOOR. TO SEE THAT
MOST OF THE WRINKLES ARE OUT. YOU MAY HAVE TO ADJUST THE
STAKE LOCATIONS. THEN RAISE THE CENTER UPRIGHT POLES TO APPLY
PRESSURE (BUT NOT TOO MUCH TO STRAIN THE FABRIC OR STAKE
LOOPS OR SLEEVE IN THE ROOF).
 THEN, ADJUST THE SIDE UPRIGHT
POLES BY SLIDING THE LOWER ENDS TO MAKE THE FRONT AND REAR
WALLS LOOK WELL. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SAME STRAIN WARNINGS
ALREADY MENTIONED. DO NOT APPLY TOO MUCH PRESSURE THAT WILL
CAUSE THE SEAMS OR FABRIC TO TEAR!

LASTLY, THE FRONT AWNING NEEDS TO BE SET UP AND GUYED OUT.
ASSEMBLE THE GUY ROPES AND JOIN THE AWNING POLES UNTO UPPER
(WITH POINT) AND LOWER (WITH THE PLASTIC. EACH AWNING POLE
SHOULD BE GUYED OUT WITH THE STAKE LOCATED AT 30-45 DEGREE
ANGLE. (NOTE: IN HEAVY RAIN THE AWNING SHOULD BE LOWERED
TO AVOID POCKETING LOTS OF WATER WHICH MAY BRING DOWN THE
TENT, BEND THE POLES OR CREATE A PERMANENT BAG IN THE AWNING
FABRIC). CAREFULLY REVERSE THESE STEPS TO DISMANTLE YOUR
TENT.
