Recharging the Rechargeable Batteries

 • Charging when Monitor is “ON” – The LED indicator will show red while charg

ing and will turn fully green when fully charged.

• Charging when Monitor is “OFF” – LED indicator will show red while charging,

once fully charged, it will briefly turn green and then turn off. Turn on Monitor to

   verify charging status.

Additional Battery Notes:
• When operating the monitor on battery, the LED indicator will turn red 10 min-

utes before the unit turns off from low charge.

• When first charging the batteries, charge for 11 hours.

• To fully recharge the batteries, charge for 8 hours.

• When monitoring over long periods and, in particular, overnight, it is recomend-

ed to use the AC/DC Adapter for the Monitor.

• Use VOX or Audio Only mode to extend battery life.

• Under optimal conditions, the battery charge will last for up to

6 hours. Continuous use of video on will greatly shorten battery life.

• All rechargeable batteries last for lessening periods of time after hun-

dreds of recharges and eventually need to be replaced.

• If the monitor is to be used in several locations, Mobi

®

 recommends

the purchase of additional AC/DC adapters.
