3.  Move to the item you wish to modify and

press “3-way select button” to select. 

4.  When the font color becomes red, scroll 

up or down to modify the item setting. 

5.  Press “3-way select button” again to quit

when the font color becomes green.

LCD Brightness – 10% ~ 90% 

Backlight Timer – Off, 60 Sec, 180 Sec 

Power Off Timer – Off, 10 Min, 30 Min 

TV Standard – NTSC, PAL 

Video Record Quality – Low, Middle,

Audio Record Quality – Low, Middle, 
High 

Photo Slide Show – Off, 3 Sec, 5 Sec, 10
Sec 

Reset All Setup Config Default – No, Yes

Set System Date – yy/mm/dd 

Set System Time – hh/mm/ss

How to update DVX-POD firmware?

Connect DVX-POD to PC via Mini-USB 
cable and delete original firmware file 
(*.bin) from DVX-POD 7010 
Download the latest firmware file (*.bin) 
from MobiNote web site and transmit the 
file to the root path of “DVX-POD 7010”. 
Unplug 

Mini-USB 

cable and make sure 

the status of device is power Off. 
Press “Reverse button” and “Power 
On/Off button” at the same time until the 
device boots up, and then release the 2 
buttons. 
Once the main menu shows up, it 
indicates the DVX-POD

system is in the 

process of updating its firmware 
automatically. 
DO NOT touch any button while the 
system is still updating the firmware.   
After 1-5 minutes (it depends on 
different version), the system will 
shutdown by itself, and the firmware 
update procedure is then completed.
