STEP 4
Putting on Hardhat and Headset
The Ear Cups can be ‘clicked’ into two positions when mounted onto a Hardhat:
1. Disengaged –
Cups positioned outward away from head (figure 4.1 & 4.2).
2. Engaged
– Cups positioned inwards against the head (figure 5.2 bottom right)
To put on the Hardhat with Headset, first click both Ear Cups outward to the Disengaged
position (figure 4.1). Then simply place the Hardhat on your head with the Mic. on the left
side. See Figure 4.2. (N.B. Also check hardhat manufacturer instructions for fitting)

STEP 5
Engaging Ear Cups
a)
To engage, place one hand on each of the Ear Cups and, together, simply
push firmly inwards towards the head. The Ear Cups will both click into place
against your head.
b)
Continue to push Ear Cups firmly against head and hold for 2 to 3 seconds.
This expels excess air from the Ear Cushions making them more comfortable
and helping to provide better hearing protection. See figure 5.1 and 5.2.
