1. Introduction
Thank you for buying a high-quality Mobilex product. These user instructions contain a detailed product
description and important guidelines for correct use of the product. You must read the instructions carefully
before using the product. Please always observe all guidelines, in particular the security instructions, in order to
use the product safely for a long time.
Intended use of the device
The Mobilex product is medical device which has been designed to increase the mobility of persons who have
difficulties standing or walking. The rollator enables those persons to regain the ability to perform daily chores.
The rollator is suitable for persons who as a result of various diseases need stable walking support. The rollator
should only be used as a support for standing, walking and sitting. Any other use is prohibited.
Indications
The rollator is a medical device designed to help people with functional limitations. The indications for use are
diseases that cause mobility limitations and disabilities, obstructing independent sitting, standing and walking.
Therefore, there is a need for an additional stable support when performing the above activity. Indications cannot
be related to one specific clinical picture and they depend on individual evaluation of potential user’s health
status by professional physician or physical therapist, but main target user groups are elderly people, persons
with paresis, rheumatic diseases, and other people with limited mobility of the lumbar spine, knees or hips. Using
the product for any purpose other than those described above is prohibited.
Contraindications
Rollators are not indicted for those persons who can’t maintain proper body balance in a standing position. The
device must not be used if the user has problems with impaired perception. Contraindications cannot be related
to one specific clinical picture and they depend on individual evaluation of potential user’s health status. The
choice of orthopedic aid appropriate for a given clinical picture must be always made with the help of a specialist
physician or physiotherapist. In addition, observe the safety information in Chapter 2.

2. Security instructions
•
Use only the product if it is technically flawless
•
In case of any product damage or faults please contact your dealer immediately
•
Observe the data on the product label
•
Use the product only for the described purpose
•
Please notice that there is a risk of injury at all joints on the rollator
•
Always check before use that the wheel brakes function perfectly
•
Check tyre pressure regularly
•
Regularly check and retighten the finger screws
•
Use the rollator only when it has been fully unfolded and the locking device has been activated
•
The rollator should only be used on a flat stable surface, indoors or outdoors
•
The seat may only be used when the brakes have been firmly locked
•
Both brakes should always be activated or locked simultaneously
•
Max. load of the rollator is 200 kg in total
•
Max. load of the shopping bag is 5 kg
•
It is not allowed to carry an extra person on the seat
•
The product must not be changed without the manufacturer's written permission
•
The rollator must always be braked when not in use
•
Remember to retighten the finger screws regularly
3. Description
The Elephant Air rollator has a powder coated reinforced frame with 4 wheels. The light-weight frame makes it
easy to fold it together and offers easy storage and transport. The rollator runs easily and is sufficiently stable.
The height of the underarm supports can be adjusted. The rollator is delivered with a mounted seat, backbelt,
crutch holder and shopping bag.
