In case of electric models, switch off the speed controller or receiver power supply first, then disconnect the driving
battery from the speed controller. Disconnect the plug connections completely.
For combustion models, switch off the motor and then the receiver power supply.
Now you may turn off the transmitter!
• If the batteries (or rechargeable batteries) in the transmitter are weak, the range decreases.
• If using a speed controller with BEC for an electric model (”BEC” is short for ”Battery Eliminator Circuit”, electrical
circuit for direct voltage supply of the receiver without an additional receiver battery), your speed controller will
produce the voltage required for operating the receiver.
Therefore, a low driving battery voltage will not only make the vehicle slower, but the voltage at the receiver will also
decrease. This causes the vehicle to no longer react properly to commands given by the transmitter.
In this case, stop driving at once (switch off vehicle or speed controller, disconnect driving battery from vehicle,
switch off transmitter). Then replace the vehicle driving battery or recharge it.
• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your environment is solely down to
you being responsible when dealing with the model.
