7 Base with battery compartment
Insert 8 type AA/mignon batteries here or 8 rechargeable batteries into the battery compartment (observe the
correct polarity). The polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) is marked on the battery compartment.
8 ”TH” Reverse switch for drive
This inverts the response of the motor (forward/reverse) to the throttle/brake lever (6).
9 Charging jack
When rechargeable batteries are inserted in the transmitter, you can also connect an external charger. Do not use
any quick chargers. The high charging current will damage the conductor strips in the transmitter.
If no maximum charging current is printed next to the charging jack, we recommend using a charging current of
max. 250 mA.
Never charge regular batteries! There is a risk of fire and explosion! Check whether rechargeable batteries
are inserted in the transmitter before connecting a charger!
10 Power LED
This LED will light up when the transmitter is switched on.
11 On/off switch
This slider turns the transmitter on (”ON” position) or off (”OFF”). Never turn the transmitter off when the model is
in operation!

ST
everse switch for steering
If the model’s steering responds in exactly the opposite direction to the movement of the steering wheel (2), you
can reverse the movement using this slide switch.
13 Telescopic aerial
Extend the telescopic aerial all the way if you want to use the transmitter. When the aerial is collapsed, the range
will be much decreased!
14 Dual-Rate control ”D/R” for steering
The dual rate control can be used to set the steering reaction to movements at the wheel.
Turning it clockwise reduces the servo pack, i.e. the steering deflection of the wheels decreases. This can help to
achieve more accurate control at higher speeds. However, it also increases the turn radius!
15 Cover flap (can be flipped upwards)
Move the flap upwards. The two reverse switches for steering and drive, as well as the Power LED and the slider
for throttle/brake ratio are visible below it. Close the cover again after making the desired settings.
16 Slider for 50/50 or 70/30 ratio for forwards/backwards driving
This mechanic slider can be used to set the ratio of forwards/reverse driving to 50/50 or 70/30. A mechanism inside
the transmitter moves the throttle/brake lever into a different position.
For switching it, press slightly on the slider; it will be easier to move then.
For the ”50/50” setting, the servo path (or speed controller) has the same length between the neutral position and
the full throttle position for forwards and reverse driving respectively.
For the “70/30” setting, the lever path for forwards driving (pull lever towards the handle) is 70%, and for reverse
driving (push lever away from the handle), it is 30%).
