o) Function "15:F/S", Failsafe
As a special feature the receiver has a failsafe function for both the steering
servo and the gas/brake servo.
If the transmitter signal is lost or if there is a receiver interference the pre-
programmed servo setting will be activated (for example for a car the gas/
brake servo is set to 100%).
The programming is carried out directly within the transmitter and is then
transferred to the receiver.
Proceed as follows:
• From within the main menu (see fig. 5) press the "ENTER" button, then you
can use the "+" or "-" buttons to select the "15:F/S" function (fig 80).
• Then press the "ENTER" button again to reach the settings menu (fig 81).
• Press the "ENTER" button to select between different settings, then you can
use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the setting.
Programme a servo setting for the steering servo ("ST") and the gas servo/
drive control unit ("TH"); and the setting range is between -120% and +120%.
We recommend you programme full braking (-100%) for a model car's gas/
brake servo ("TH"). The steering servo can remain at "0%".
In order to activate the respective failsafe you need to adjust the setting from
"INH" from "ACT", see fig 82.
The failsafe function is switched on with the "ON" button and off with "OFF",
see fig 83 ("ON" is marked with a dot, failsafe function is switched on).
• Exit the settings menu with the "EXIT" button, the settings are automatically
saved.
