q) Function "17:SOUND", Switch Off Sound Signals
Normally a confirmation tone will be emitted with every press of a menu button
("ENTER", "EXIT", "+" and "-").
This can however be very annoying in certain situations, thus the confirmation
tone can be switched off.
Please note:
The button confirmation tone can be separately turned on/off
for each model memory.
If the tone is switched off, the timer (see function "20:TIMER",
chapter 12. t) no longer emits signal tones either.
Proceed as follows:
• From within the main menu (see fig. 5) press the "ENTER" button, then you
can use the "+" or "-" buttons to select the "17:SOUND" function (fig 88).
• Then press the "ENTER" button again to reach the settings menu (fig 89).
• Switch between "INH" and "ACT" with the "+" and "-" buttons.
INH = sound switched off (fig 89)
ACT = sound switched on (fig 90)
• Exit the settings menu with the "EXIT" button, the setting will automatically
be saved.
