t) Function "20:TIMER", Set/Activate UP/DOWN Timer
You can make two different timer settings:
"UP"-Timer:
This timer counts from 00:00 upwards to the set time (maximum 99 minutes,
30 seconds). Every 30 seconds a tone signal will be emitted.
The timer (see fig 5) only runs when the control lever for the gas/brake is not in
the neutral setting. The "UP" timer thus counts the "real" driving time.
After the set time is complete, a continuous beep signal is emitted.
Please note that sound must be turned on in the "17:SOUND" function (chapter
12. q)!
"DOWN"-Timer:
This timer counts from a settable time downwards to 00:00 (maximum 99
minutes, 30 seconds).
The timer (see fig 5) only runs when the control lever for the gas/brake is not in
the neutral setting.
After the set time is complete, a continuous beep signal is emitted.
Please note that sound must be turned on in the "17:SOUND" function (chapter
12. q)!
Proceed as follows:
• From within the main menu (see fig. 5) press the "ENTER" button, then you
can use the "+" or "-" buttons to select the "20:TIMER" function (fig 99).
• Then press the "ENTER" button again to reach the settings menu (fig 100).
• Press the "ENTER" button to select between different settings, then you can
use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the setting.
The operating type can be selected under "MODE":
„INH" = timer off
"DN_T" = "DOWN"-Timer
"UP_T" = "UP"-Timer
If the time setting is selected (fig 101 "T" is bordered black), then the "+" and
"-" buttons can be used to set the desired timer time. For a quick adjustment,
hold the corresponding button for a longer period of time.
• Exit the settings menu with the "EXIT" button, the settings are automatically saved.
• As described earlier on, the timer runs in the display (see fig 102) only when the control lever for the gas/brake is not
in the neutral setting. "T_I" is shown in the display if the timer is switched off, "T_U" when the "UP"-timer is activated
and "T_D" when the "DOWN" timer is activated, see circle marking in fig 102.
