4. PCuv (Pitch Curve)
This menu item is not available for winged models.
Programming via the control elements:
The Pitch Curve describes the angle of attack for the rotor blades as a
function of the travel of the control stick.
The angle of attack for the rotor blades generates the lift. Depending on
the mechanical adjustment on the helicopter, this angle may be either
greater than or less than 0° (horizontal). Necessary for various aerobatic
manoeuvres, such as flying inverted, negative angles of attack produce
negative lift of the helicopter.
The progression of the Pitch Curve is preset to be linear, from 0% to
100%. The curve progression can be adjusted at five points, each within
a range of 0%-100%.
Switch the transmitter on.
Press the [Menu] and [Sel] buttons simultaneously.
In the Main Menu, use the [Menu] button to jump to the item [P.Cuv].
Use the [Sel] button to select the individual items 1-5.
Use the [+] and [-] buttons to set the value desired.
Press the [Menu] button to save
The default setting is for the left toggle switch [B] to be allocated the [NOR/ID] function.
This makes it possible for you to program a second Pitch Curve and use the switch to change
between the two settings.
Programming via the PC software:
In the software, the values for each of the five items can be entered
directly.
The changed curve progression is simultaneously shown in a diagram.
The selection of MODEL [NOR] and [ID] makes it possible to program
two different curve progressions, such as for normal flight (NORMAL)
and aerobatics (IDLE UP).
The two switch positions [ON] and [OFF] then correspond to the two
Pitch Curves selected.
If the switch has not been activated, then only the values saved
under [NOR] are available on the transmitter.
On the starting screen, press the [PitchCurv] button.
The default setting is MODEL [NOR].
Enter the changed values for the individual items.
Confirm the entries with the [OK].
