19. Disposal
a) General
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in
the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries containing toxic substances are marked with the symbols shown that indicate they must not be disposed of
in the household waste. The heavy metals concerned are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead (the names are
indicated on the battery/rechargeable battery e.g. below the rubbish bin symbols shown on the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at any collecting point in your local community, at
our stores or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
20. Troubleshooting
Even though the remote control is a state-of-the-art product, there can still be malfunctions or faults. For this reason, we would like
to give you some information on how to deal with possible problems.

The servos do not respond.
• Check the batteries of the transmitter and the receiver.
• Check the switch cable.
• Check the polarity of the servo plugs.
• Check the labelling on the crystals.
• Change the crystals to a different channel.
• Use a different receiver for test purposes.
The servos vibrate.
• Check the batteries of the transmitter and the receiver.
• Change the crystals to a different channel.
• Dry the receiver with a hair dryer in case it has become wet.
• Check receiver aerial for damage and electrical continuity.
A servo is humming.
• Check the batteries of the receiver.
• Make sure the linkage runs smoothly.
• For test purposes, operate the servo without the rudder horn.
