1. Instruction
Put clean rice in the inner, ratio 1:1.5 (rice:water).
Refer to the scale on the inner pot.
Body is placed above the top of the switch. WARM is shown when ignition.
Nest the inner pot into the body, cover with lid.
Note:
Wet inner pot bottom will cause bad ignition or blocked burner, then unsuccessful
combustion. Clean the bottom of the inner pot.
2. Ignition
a. IGNITION, COOKING, WARM must be at OFF place (upper place), check before switch on
the gas. The inner pot should be taken out when first use. This can avoid injuries due to
improper operation.
b. Sightly press the IGNITION till a sound of is heard, and make sure WARM is on. Then reply it
and make sure WARM is fixed at pressing position.
c. Put the inner pot in when the WARM is on. Then press COOK to ignite for cooking.
Note:
Do not put your eyes close to the hole for ignition confirmation, it is
dangerous
.
Make sure WARM is ignited before putting the inner pot in.
Once unsuccessful ignition or flame out happems, immediately pull COOK upwards for
extinguishing main flame.
If it is not ignited as above sequence, or abnormal combustion is found during ignition or usage,
switch off the gas to check the burner if it is blocked or wet. Cool down and clean the burner, then
ignite again. If problems repeat, please contact MODENA service center for repair.
3. Flame out
1. The flame will become smaller during cooking. Sound will be occurred, this is not abnormal
(COOK is still at ON position).
2. The flame will be out after cooking. COOK will return to start. WARM is still on for warming the
rice.
3. Do not open the lid after the flame is out automatically. Wait about 15 to 20 minutes to make the
rice more delicious.
4. Press WARM at ON position in case of warming rice.
Note:
The proper time for for warming rice is one hour.
Pull the WARM upwards when warming is not needed.
4. Air adjustment
Place the air conditioning adjust at the correct position for effective combustion.
5. Cooking instruction
a. How to cook, clean the inner Poland lid, please rub the bottom if carbon deposits or the bottom is
black. This would effect the temperature transition, and uncooked rice might occur.
b. The best warming time is an hour, rice would be too dry if warming time is more than one hour.
