Exchanging the 1536 Tip Gasket
Installing the Gasket
To install the 1536 tip gasket:
1.
Remove the gasket from its package and discard the gasket
backing.
2.
Place the lubricated side of the gasket down on the tip block,
using the gasket recess to guide the frame position.
When aligned, the tip block and gasket are sandwiched together
until the tip block grippers clamp into place.
Note:
Gaskets should be replaced approximately every 200 plates
(~3200 strokes). Gasket lifetime varies depending on the number of
aspiration/dispense steps performed in your experiment and should be
monitored.
