Suggested Steps in Command Usage

Check if instrument is functioning fine.
•
Make sure experiment is not running.
•
Open protocol first by sending
openprotocol
command.

Send
runexperiment
command.
•
Response will be OK, that confirming command started
execution or Condition code related to command, that
confirming command could not start execution.
•
Monitor status for completion, and error status for any other
kind of error.

Stopexperiment<CR>
Command Description
This command will stop the current action being performed by the
instrument.
The
stopexperiment
command will stop the experiment immediately.
This may halt the instrument pipettor in the midst of a motion. In this
case, the instrument will immediately enter a fault state and an
instrument reset will be required. In addition, the pipettor may not be
in motion but may have tips that contain fluid or are in a source or
target plate. In these cases, it may be possible to recover without
resetting by washing the tips. Regardless, an instrument reset is
recommended following the use of any
stopexperiment
command.
