ABOUT BATTERY
This bike is using lithium-ion batteries as power supply.
In contrast to other lithium batteries, the lithium-
ion batteries are free of “memory effects” and can be recharged even if the power is not
completely exhausted.
Battery life is closely related to the correct way to use:
•
Start or uphill with pedal power.
•
Charge the battery after riding the bike.
•
When not used for long periods, fully charge the battery each 2 month for 6-7 hours.
ABOUT BATTERY CHARGING
Before using the bike for the first time, fully charge the battery.
Plug the charger in the bicycles directly when you need to charge the battery.
Remind to use the waterproof cover to protect the charging hole on the bike, to avoid any short circuit.
1. Turn off the
display and turn the button nearby the charging port on “0”
. Do not use the bike during the charge of the battery.
2. Ensure the charging port is dry.
3. Open the cover and insert the charger into the bike charging port. Then, the other end of the charger must be connected to the mains to
activate the charger.
4. The indicator light on the charger will be
red
: this grants that the charge is proceeding.
5. After 6-7 hours of charging, the light on the battery charger will be
black
meaning the full charge. Too long charging time will affect the
battery life.
6. Remove the cable of the battery charger, put the cover back to position.
Turn the button to “1” to activate the battery. The button should be
“0” positioned when the
bike is not used for long time.
