7.3.2 Graphic representation
By clicking the button “GRAPH”, the fol-
lowing menu is displayed:

Menu PLOT
Switch to full frame representation by
clicking the upper right button
.
Various adjustments can be made via
further buttons and adjustment fields:
CLEAR
The graph is deleted and the
writing process is restarted.
W
The graph can be widened by
entering a higher value. The number
indicates the width in pixels.
H
The graph can be enlarged in height
by entering a higher value.
X axis Autoscale
The x-axis (time) au-
tomatically adapts to the total measur-
ing time. If this function is deactivated,
the section of the graph can be dis-
placed with the scrolling bar.
Y axis Autoscale
The y-axis (meas-
ured value) automatically adapts to
the measured value.
If the function MAX/MIN in the main
menu is activated, the maximum value is
displayed as a red line and the minimum
value as a blue line in the diagram. The
functions Print and Reset can be called
via the menu bar (see chapter 7.3.1).
For switching to the main menu, click
“Windows” in the menu bar and select
“DMM40.VI”. If the menu PLOT is to be
closed, double-click the upper left but-

7.3.3 Recording the measured values
By clicking the button “RECORD”, the
following menu is displayed:

The following adjustments can be made
in the adjustment fields:
messages size
Number of individual
measurements that can be recalled
via the scrolling bar in the window.
FILE NAME
Adjustment “DEFAULT” = The pro-
gram stores the measured data with
the time indication as file name
(month/day/hour/minute) and the
extension “xls”, e. g.
C:\dmm40\07261606.xls =
July 26th, 4.06 p.m.
The file name is displayed in the menu
as soon as the button “ON” is actuated.
Adjustment “USER FILE” = In the sec-
ond field from the left, a user-defined
file name can be entered under USER
FILE, with path, if required.

RECORDING
When clicking the but-
ton “ON”, the measured values are
recorded in a file, when clicking
“OFF”, the recording is stopped.
