3.1 

Test Box Functions

The following are the functions available for this test box.

3.1.1  CONT / PULSE

Select mode for paying out coins either continuously (“CONT”) or pulsed (“PULSE”).
In continuous mode the coins are ejected without any pause.
In pulsed mode the motor pauses for 500ms between each coin ejection.

3.1.2  FREE / COUNT

“FREE” pays out the coins until hopper is empty,
“COUNT” pays out number of coins selected using the “COUNT” switch

3.1.3  HOPPER / ON

Start and stop the Hopper. This shuts the power off to the Hopper motor but not the test
box.

3.1.4  COUNT SWITCH

Rotate to select a predefined number of coins to be dispensed.

3.1.5  OPTO LED

Illuminates each time a coin is dispensed and remains lit when the opto is blocked

3.1.6  OPTO TEST / START COUNT

While the Hopper is off, pressing this button will test the opto and confirm by illuminating
the “OPTO LED” and by incrementing the counter by 1.
If the Hopper is powered up, this will start the payout of coins in 

Pulsed Mode

3.1.7  DISPLAY SCREEN

The display shows the counter on the left side of the screen and the motor current on the
right.

N.B.– each time the Hopper is started the counter is reset.
