In Normal Mode, the printer first performs an extruder calibration, then performs a full Nine
Point Auto Calibration. The first point calculates the initial distance between the extruder
and the built plate. You can use the
and
buttons to adjust the Z-axis deviation
value. Use the included Leveling Card between the nozzle and build plate to judge the
proper distance. The proper distance is when there is a slight amount of resistance when
moving the Leveling Card between the nozzle and the build plate.
Normally, this is all the calibration that is needed. However, if you find you cannot print
large models, you should finish the full Nine Point Auto Calibration. After the full
calibration, the system will calculate the mean value for compensation. At each stage of
the calibration process, you can use the
and
buttons to adjust the Z-axis
deviation.
