Freezer compartment

For maximum capacity for the freezer compartment, use glass
shelves for upper and middle section. For the bottom section, use the
lower basket.

Place the food you would like to freeze initially in the upper shelf of
the deep freeze section in such a way that it does not exceed the
declared freezing capacity of your refrigerator. You may place your
food next to the other frozen food once it has frozen (for at least 24
hours).
•
It is recommended to keep the thermostat set at level 5.
•
It is recommended that the food to be frozen is kept separate from the
already frozen food.
•
Foods should be frozen in single portion sized containers.
•
Never refreeze frozen food after it has thawed. It may be hazardous
to your health and could lead to food poisoning.
•
Never place warm food in the freezer compartment, as it will disturb
the frozen food.
•
When buying frozen food, make sure that it was frozen under
appropriate conditions and the packaging is not damaged.
•
When storing frozen food, the instructions shown on the packaging
should always be followed carefully and if no information is provided
food should consumed as soon as possible.
•
Frozen food should be transported in appropriate containers and
placed in the freezer as soon as possible. Do not use door shelves
for freezing.
•
If a frozen food package shows signs of humidity and abnormal
swelling it is probable that it has been previously stored at an
unsuitable temperature and that the contents have deteriorated. Do
not buy such food.
•
Storage time for frozen food may differ according to the ambient
temperature, frequency of door openings, thermostat adjustments,
type of food and the time elapsed between buying the food and placing
the food in the freezer. Always follow instructions on the packaging
and do not exceed the storage period.
•
During extended power outages, please do not open the door of the
deep freeze compartment. Your refrigerator will preserve your frozen
food in the ambient environmental temperature of 25°C for about 13
