COMMISSIONING
CAUTION: Do not open the grease gun under pressure. Only relieve the pressure via the pressure
piston handle (8).
Filling with a cartridge
1.
Unscrew the press container (1) from the head part (2) of the grease gun
counterclockwise.
2.
Completely pull back the plunger handle (8).
3.
Completely insert the open end of the cartridge into the press container (1) and remove
the seal from the cartridge.
4.
Screw the press container (1) back onto the head part (2) of the grease gun.
5.
Release the pressure piston handle (8) and press the release lever (9).
6.
Push the pressure piston handle (8) in as far as possible while pressing the release lever
(9).
7.
Pull the pressure piston handle back completely and release it quickly. Repeat this step
2-3 times. This pushes the rubber ring into the cartridge, which is vital for the proper
functioning of the grease gun.
Filling with a filling pump
1.
Remove cap from the filling valve (6) the on the head part (2) of the grease gun.
2.
Connect the filling pump to the grease gun via this filling valve (6).
3.
Operate the filling pump and fill the press container (1). During filling, the piston of the
grease gun is slowly pushed out. Stop filling when the pressure piston handle (8) is
completely pushed out.
4.
Uncouple the filling pump from the grease gun again.
5.
Close the filling valve (6) again with the sealing cap.
6.
Release the pressure piston handle (8) and press the release lever (9).
