1 General information
1.1 About this manual
This document describes the CANopen field bus interface of the Moog servo valves.
It describes and explains the general structure of the CANopen field bus interface and in a second part the de-
vice specific profile for hydraulic valves will be explained.
All parameters follow the common CANopen communication profile CiA 301 / CiA 301-1 / CiA 305 and the de-
vice specific CANopen profile "Device profile fluid power technology proportional valves and hydrostatic trans-
missions", CiA 408 released by the CAN in Automation (CiA) organisation.
This manual is part of the set of documentation available for the servo valve.

tionality can be used in various servo valve models which can be implemented in a vast range of applications.
Hence it is not possible to assume liability for the influence of the parameters. Please refer to the safety in-
structions and remarks in the related operating instructions.
This document is not a replacement for the CANopen standards as listed in the references.
