9.2 Disassembly

Drip trays for media

Lifting gear
1.
Stop the supply of all media and secure it
to prevent it from being switched back on.
2.
Place drip trays for leaking media under-
neath the connections.
3.
Secure the device with lifting gear as
necessary.
4.
Unfasten the connections.
5.
Collect media separately as far as possible.
6.
Unfasten all fastening screws.
7.
Remove the device from the plant. Be
aware of the weight.
8.
Collect any leaked media.
9.
Re-use media or dispose of them properly.
Refer to the safety data sheets for the
media as necessary.
9.3 Disposal
If no return or disposal agreement was concluded,
dismantle components for disposal as follows:

Metal should be scrapped.
n
Plastic elements can be recycled.
n
Sort other components by material and dispose
of accordingly.

Improper disposal may result in environ-
mental hazard.
– Electric and electronic components,
lubricants and other auxiliary materials
must be disposed of by approved spe-
cialized waste disposal companies.
– If in doubt, contact your local authori-

panies for information on environmen-
tally safe disposal.
