LEFT HAND CONTROLLER FUNCTIONS
(Continued)
GLISSANDO
(OFF, ON)
As an alternative to the smooth continuous change provided by Glide, there is Glissando. When the
GLISSANDO parameter is set to On, the transition from one note to another will move through all of
the intervening notes in a stepped, staircase fashion. It is the equivalent of sliding your finger down a
fretted bass neck (Glissando) as opposed to a fretless bass (Glide).
LOAD SAVED POS.
(OFF, MOD WHEEL, PAD, BOTH)
The position of the
MOD
wheel and the held position on the
X/Y PAD
can be saved as part of the
active Synth. This parameter determines whether those held values are saved and loaded the next time
the Synth is recalled.
OFF
Neither the
MOD
wheel position nor the held
X/Y PAD
position is saved as part of the Synth.
MOD WHEEL
The position of the
MOD
wheel is saved and reloaded as part of the Synth.
PAD
The held position of the
X/Y PAD
is saved and reloaded as part of the Synth.
BOTH
The position of the
MOD
wheel and the held position of the
X/Y PAD
are both saved and
reloaded as part of the Synth.
SEMITONE TRANSP.
(-12 to OFF to +12)
The overall pitch of the active Synth may be transposed up or down up to one octave, in semitone
units. Layered Synths can be pitched a fifth or an octave apart; songs can be played in new keys using
established fingering; and you can adjust your key to match another vocalist or performer. The default
position is OFF.
KEY TRACK CENTER
(C0 to G10)
All of the Moog One Keyboard Tracking (KB TRACK.) parameters default to using Middle C (MIDI Note
#60) as the center note. This is the note from which positive KB TRACK values begin, and the point
from which negative KB TRACK values start. The center note itself is unaffected by these parameters;
it merely serves as a starting point. This center note can be re-assigned to any MIDI Note, from C0
(MIDI Note #1) to G10 (MIDI Note #127).
