To disassemble do the exact opposite of the above instructions.
9. BEFORE TO USE
• Always check the wear of the mechanical parts in the game so as to ensure the use of the
device in total safety for persons and things.
• Check carefully the proper assembly of the device and pay attention to fix the bedside rails
on the bed frame.
10. HOW TO USE
Positioning and regulation of the bedside rails are operations that the assistant has to do with
maximum care to avoid dangerous installations. Using the knobs you can adjust the height of the
bedside rails, until the complete lowering.
11. MAINTENANCE
The MOPEDIA devices by Moretti S.P.A. are checked carefully and supplied with CE mark, once
launched on the market. For patient and physician’s safety we recommend to let check the
device by the manufacturer or by laboratory authorized every 2 years. In case of repair, use
only original spare parts and accessories. The bedside rails do not require special maintenance,
although it is advisable to perform periodic checks on the structure.
Check the correct positioning of the tubes, check the connections, the hooks, and the complete
tightening of screws and/or clamps.
12. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
12.1 Cleaning
To clean the bedside rails use a damp cloth with a solution of alcohol or neutral soap (in equal parts)
mixed with water.
WARNING!
Do not use abrasive substances, acids, alcohol, chlorine-based cleaners, disinfectants
and acetone when cleaning, because these substances cause the abrasion of the plastic
surfaces and rusting of metal surfaces.
The manufacturing company cannot be held responsible for the damage that is caused by using
materials that could damage the product surface or corrosive chemicals during cleaning.
12.2 Disinfection
If you need to disinfect the product use a common disinfectant neutral detergent.
13. CONDITIONS OF DISPOSAL
In case of disposal don’t use the inserting container for municipal waste. We recommend to
dispose the bedside rail in the appropriate disposal areas for recycling.
