Thank you for purchasing a shower and toilet chair mOPEDIA by Moretti S.p.A.
Its design and its quality guarantees to the user comfort, safety and reliability. The commode
shower and toilet chairs mOPEDIA by Moretti S.p.A. are designed and realized to meet your
requirements for a correct use in inner spaces. The production has been made according to the
highest quality and safety standards in accordance with the European Directive on Medical de-
vices (93/42/EEC).This instruction manual gives you suggestion for a correct use of the aid and
good safety advice. We recommend you to read carefully this instruction manual before the use.
In case of doubts, please contact your dealer.
Intended use:
The mOPEDIA shower and toilet chairs are created for people with movement
difficulty and can be used indoors as substitution of toilet or as aid under the shower.
EC Declaration of conformity:
Moretti S.p.A. declare under sole responsibility that the
product made and traded by Moretti S.p.A. and belonging to Shower chair range are in
accordance with the European Directive on Medical devices (93/42/EEC).
Moretti S.p.A. guarantees and declared under sole responsibility what follow:

directive 93/42/EEC as laid down by the

IT IS NOT ALLOWED to use and install devices except for the use provided by Moretti
S.p.A. Moretti S.p.A. places technical documentation at relevant authorities in order to prove
the conformity of 92/42/EEC device.
Assembling instructions:
You will receive Mopedia wheelchair with disassembled backrest and
footrests. To assemble the backrest, insert the ends of the tubes in the appropriate holes. Screw
the handles to fix the backrest as in
(pic.1)
. To assemble the fo-
otrest, insert it in the hole, push it downwards and than inwards
until the safety block. To remove the footrest, unlock the safety
block, turn the footrest outwards and pull it out
(Pic. 2).
Footrests have to be turned inward. Place the toilet bowl from the
back part of the chair.
Footrest adjustment:
The footrests of shower chair can be adju-
sted according to your needs: unfasten the screw, adjust the foo-
trest height and fasten the screw again. Check that both footrests
are adjusted at the same height.
Seat height adjustment (only for RS946):
The seat height can be adjusted from 49cm to 54cm,
with 3 different levels. Remove the safety clip, change the height and insert the clip again. Check
the stability of the chair before the use: all the safety clip have to be in the correct position.
