16.1 Controls and reminders
•
Keep the controller clean and protect it from water and rain. Never expose the device to direct
contact with water.
• Keep the wheel clean of residue, hair, sand and carpet fibres.
•
Inspect the tyre tread. If it is less than 1 mm (1/32”), have the tyres replaced by your local
retailer.
•
All the upholstery can be washed with warm water and neutral soap. Check the seat and
backrest for rips and/or tears every now and then. Replace them if necessary. Do not store
the product in damp environments, as this can cause mould to form and quickly damage the
upholstery.
•
Inspect and lubricate all moving parts. Lubricate with Vaseline or light oil. Do not use too much
lubricant, the small drops can cause stains. Always check that all nuts and bolts are tight.
16.2 Wheel replacement
• If the scooter has a solid tyre, replace the entire wheel.
WARNING!
The wheels must be replaced by an authorised retailer or a qualified technician in a
workshop
16.3 Control panels, battery charger and rear electronics
• Protect these components from damp.
•
If exposed to damp, dry them off completely before you use
the scooter again.
