Notes
1 Flash
Battery almost
discharged
Battery almost discharged. Charge as soon as possible.
2 Flashes
Battery voltage too
low
Battery totally discharged. If the scooter is left switched off
for several minutes, the battery could charge sufficiently to
guarantee several minutes of autonomy
3 Flashes
Battery voltage too
high
The battery is over-charged. If the battery is connected to
the battery charger, disconnect it or turn the “Charge/Run”
switch to “Run”.
A scooter battery charged by the control unit is automatically
charged during downhill driving or in the deceleration phase.
An excessive accumulated charge in this mode could cause
the error indicated. Switch off the scooter and switch it on
again.
4 Flashes
Current limiter time
out
The scooter has absorbed too much current for too long,
probably because the engine has been overstressed, is idling
or has jammed. Switch off the scooter, leave it switched off for
several minutes, then switch it back on again.
The control unit has identified a short-circuit in the engine.
Check for any short-circuited cables and check the engine.
Contact the assistance centre.
5 Flashes
Brake fault
Check that the stopping brake lever is in the brake engaged
position. The stopping brake cables or coil are faulty. Check
that the stopping brake and cables do not have any short-
circuits or open circuits. Contact the assistance centre.
6 Flashes
Accelerator not in
neutral on ignition
The control lever (accelerator) is not in neutral on ignition.
Place the lever in the neutral position, switch off the scooter
and then switch it back on again. The lever may require re-
calibration. Check the lever cables.
7 Flashes
Potentiometer fault
The control lever or cables are faulty. Check for any short-
circuits or open circuits. The lever might not have been
calibrated correctly. Contact the assistance centre.
8 Flashes
Engine voltage fault
The engine or cables are faulty. Check for any short-circuits
or open circuits. Contact the assistance centre.
9 Flashes
Other faults
Contact the assistance centre.
Note:
