A) Do not use portable radio transmitters, CB radios and avoid switching on mobile telephones
or other personal communications equipment when the electric wheelchair is switched on.
B) Do not approach powerful radio and TV transmitters too closely.
C) If an unintended movement or unintended release of the brake occurs, turn the key to the
OFF position as soon as you can do so safely.
D) Installing additional electrical equipment or accessories and modifying the motor of
your electric wheelchair may make it more susceptible to EMI and hence make its use
hazardous. Note that doing so also voids the warranty.
E) In any case, report any unintentional movement of the vehicle to your retailer or to
MORETTI SPA, note it down in this manual and note down the fact that there is a source
of electromagnetic radiation in your vicinity, if any.

8. SAFETY
• Always use the safety belt and keep your feet resting on the footplates at all times.
• Do not use the electric wheelchair under the influence of alcohol.
• Do not use electronic radio transmitters such as walkie-talkies or mobile telephones.
• Make sure there are no obstacles nearby when you are driving the electric wheelchair.
• Do not make a sharp turn or brake suddenly when you are driving the electric wheelchair.
• Do not drive the electric wheelchair in traffic.
