4. Do not use the rice cooker to cook any acidic or alkaline food. Do not store the
cooker with corrosive materials or places with high moisture. When in operation,
never place the cooker in or near flammable appliances.
5. After placing the inner pot inside, the power plug can be inserted to the power outlet.
Before removing the inner pot, the power cord should unplugged for safety measures
6. A fuse is installed in this rice cooker to prevent overheating. As such, the power will
cut off automatically when overheating occurs. Replace fuse to resume normal
operation.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance should be cleaned after every use.
1. Unplug the Automatic Rice Cooker from the power outlet when not in use or before
cleaning. Never immerse heating body in water or any other liquids! Allow the
Automatic Rice Cooker to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or steel wool to clean the Rice Cooker.
3. Heating body: Lightly wipe the exterior with damp cloth or sponge. Do not immerse
heating body into water or other liquids.
4. Inner pot: Fill with hot water and let it sit for a while before washing with hot, soapy
water and soft sponge. Dry thoroughly with clean cloth.
5. Keep the outer lid and inner lid dry and clean when not in use.
6. Heating Plate and Thermostat: Grains of rice or other foreign matter may stick to the
heating plate. These must be removed to maintain proper cooking performance. To
remove cooked rice, smooth sand paper can be used. Smooth out and polish the
spot for good contact between the heating plate and bottom of the inner pot.
7. There are no user serviceable parts inside this appliance. Do not attempt to repair
this appliance yourself as you could render it dangerous to use. Return it to an
authorised service center for repair.
