Salsa 

Ingredients

Onion

1/2

garlic clove

Fresh coriander, parsley, basil 
Small chilli 
Tinned plum tomatoes
1 tsp tomato purée
1 tsp olive oil

Method

1

Cut 

1/4

of the onion into 1-2cm pieces

and process approximately 10g in
chopper until finely chopped.

Finely chop garlic.

Roughly chop approximately 5g of herbs.

Cut chilli into 1cm slices and add required
amount to chopper - chop finely.

Take 2 to 3 plum tomatoes and cut in half.
Place in chopper and blend until smooth.

Mix all ingredients together, add tomato
puree and oil and mix thoroughly. Chill
well before serving. 

Korean sesame & ginger marinade 

Ingredients

4 small garlic cloves 
Fresh ginger 
2 spring onions
Red chilli 
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp peanut oil
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
6 tbsp soy sauce

Method

1

Chop garlic cloves finely in mini chopper.

Cut ginger into 1-2cm pieces and process
2-3 pieces in chopper until finely
chopped.

Cut spring onions into 2cm pieces and
process in chopper, 1 spring onion at a
time.

Cut chilli into 1cm pieces and chop finely
in mini chopper.

5

In a bowl mix sugar, oil, sesame seeds
and soy sauce. Add other ingredients and
mix thoroughly.

Use to marinade beef, lamb or pork.

Sour cream blue cheese dip

Ingredients

Onion
Fresh parsley
100ml Sour cream
20g blue cheese
Salt

Method

1

Cut 10g of onion into 1-2cm pieces and
chop finely.

Roughly chop a handful of parsley in
chopper, 5g at a time.

Mix onion, parsley, sour cream and blue
cheese together and add salt to taste.

Chill for a few hours before serving. 

Garlic & herb dip

Ingredients

1 garlic clove 
A handful of fresh herbs: basil, chives,
parsley, coriander 
100ml plain, low-fat yogurt
Salt

Method

1

Chop garlic finely.

Roughly chop herbs 5g at a time.

Mix all ingredients and add salt to taste. 

4

Chill before serving.

Pesto

Ingredients

20g pine nuts
2 garlic cloves

1/2

small chilli

5g parsley
10g basil leaves
50ml olive oil

Method

1

Chop pine nuts in mini chopper.

2

Chop garlic finely in chopper.

3

Cut chilli into 1cm slices and chop finely
in chopper.

4

Roughly chop herbs in 5g lots.

5

Mix all ingredients together and chill
before serving.
