CAUTION – AVOID THE RISK OF BURNS
1. For purposes of avoiding the risk of burns, the metal components of the grill should not be
touched before they have cooled down completely – i.e. the first 45 minutes after the fire has
been put out – unless your use protection gear such as e.g. pot holders, protective gloves or
mittens.
2. Do not subject the grill to any kind of modification.
3. Clean before use. Replace the hose before use in case of any signs of abrasion, wear, tears, or
leakage. The connection of a replacement hose shall take place according to the manufacturer’s
specifications. Replacement hoses must be completely free of kinks or twisting. The maximum
length of the hose is 1.5 meters.
4. Never keep a full gas cylinder in a hot car or the boot of a car. The heat will cause a rise in the
gas pressure which may entail the opening of the safety valve and, hence, gas leakage.
DANGER
For purposes of avoiding a fire and preventing carbon-monoxide or smoke poisoning, this outdoor
grill must never be used inside a building, garage, shed, under a canopy, or in or on boats, trailers, or
recreational vehicles.
WARNING
Never use this appliance under flammable canopies or in covered areas (e.g. awnings, umbrellas, cov-
ered verandas, or pavilions).
Before lighting the grill, you should always ensure that it is not placed under roof overhangs by a
house, a garage, or similar building. There is a risk that such overhangs may deflect flare-up and heat
radiation to the actual building, which may result in a fire.
Always ensure to place this grill at a distance of more than 2 meters from flammable materials or sur-
faces before lighting it; and, similarly, that no petrol or other volatiles are kept close to the grill. In such
cases, the temperature of the potential inflammation of fat or of heat radiation would be sufficient to
ignite any nearby flammable or volatile substances. Always place the grill where there will be sufficient
combustion and ventilation air. There must be no blockage of combustion and ventilation air. Howev-
er, the grill must never be placed directly in the wind’s direction in stormy weather. For the purpose of
preventing uncontrollable fire in fat, never leave the grill unattended when it is in use.
Never try to move this grill when in use, or while it is still hot. This will prevent the risk of potential
bodily injury.
Never store petrol or other flammable or volatile substances close to this grill or near other heat-gen-
erating appliances, as this will represent a risk of fire.
