To  use  in  a  Home  Theatre  system

.

(Dolby ProLogic, AC3, DTS, etc…)

Put the frequency cut off level control of the subwoofer

on 150Hz. Set the level of amplification

 of the subwoofer

to midlevel.  All  other  settings  (equalizing  of  the  subwoofer
with  the  main  speakers)  will  be  done  from  your  AV
amplifier.

For use in a triphonic system (2.1)

For  this  solution,  adjust  the level  of  the  subwoofer  and  its
cut off frequency to the level of the main speakers.

Setting the phase

After  having  found  the  best  position  for  the  subwoofer  in
your  room,  you  can  set  the  phase.  The  switch  ③  can  set
from 0° to 180°:

0°:

The  subwoofer  is  in  phase  with  the  electric  signal

coming from the amplifier.

180°:

The subwoofer is in phase opposition.

The optimum setting of the phase is subjective. The switch
should be set on the position where the subwoofer delivers
the most bass.
