2.0 Installation & Adjustment
Lateral Hip Support Installation & Adjustment
With the client seated in the chair, determine (
approximate
) the most desirable fore & aft mounting location
for the Lateral Hip Support and select the nearest (existing) mounting holes the seat side frame.

note:
the
mounting bracket for the Hip Support is typically installed around the center of the seat side frame; Further
height and depth adjustments are available via the upright bar and the hip pad)
. Please refer to
Figure 2.0
for detailed adjustment options.
1. With the mounting position determined, use the hardware provided to install the mounting bracket onto
the seat side frame. Refer to Step
A.
in
Figure 1.0
below .
(
note:
the seat may need to be tilted to access
the underside of the seat side frame).
2. With the mounting bracket installed, slide the upright plate into the slot of the mounting bracket and
adjust the height of the plate to establish the final hip pad height. Install the stop bar (see
Figure 1.0

below) onto upright plate at the mounting hole position that comes closest to the achieving the desired
overall height.

Note:
The following instructions show installation on the left-hand side of the chair; repeat all
steps indicated to complete the right side Hip Support installation. Please read through the
entire instruction manual before proceeding with the installation.

Step A:
Secure the mounting bracket onto
