RF MODULE SETTINGS
CHANGING SETTINGS
To change the settings of the AGITO RF modules, you will need to use the MASTER controller for BOTH
modules, ie. The module fitted to the AGITO Core will need to be removed and inserted into the
MASTER to change its settings.
NOTE: The menu screen doesn’t update with “current settings” – this will
be fixed with a future update.
First, enter the MENU and scroll down to the SYSTEM MENU. Select RF Power and then the desired
power setting (see below),
ensuring that the power is legal in your territory of operation
. Click SELECT
and WAIT until the Menu turns GREEN.
Once the MENU has turned GREEN, exit the menu. Now remove the RF Module and insert the module
that has been removed from the AGITO CORE.
Repeat the above process with the AGITO CORE RF Module.
Once the MENU has turned GREEN, exit the menu. Remove the AGITO CORE RF Module from the
MASTER and refit this to the CORE. Return the AGITO MASTER RF Module into the MASTER.
FEC (FORWARD ERROR CORRECTION)
This feature enables a technique for controlling errors in data transmission in noisy communication
environments without the need for multiple retransmissions. However, it does increase the latency within
the transmission path. Whilst our testing suggests that this latency is unnoticeable, we have provided
this feature as an option and not as default.
If you are experiencing data-loss or restricted range, ensure that FEC is enabled and that you are using
the maximum power that is legal in your territory of operation.

ALWAYS ensure that the Power Settings are legal in the territory of operation.
As with all RF systems, line of sight between transmitter and receiver is essential. Always
ensure that the antennas are free from obstructions.
