Using Your Phone

Automatic Selection Mode

In the automatic mode, the phone will try to register with the
first network in the sorted list. If this is successful, your phone
will display the network name and then enter the standby
mode.

If registration is unsuccessful with one network in the list, your
phone will try the next listed network. If your phone fails to
register with any of the listed networks, it will start at the
beginning of the list after a preset period. The preset period is
determined by the 'Frequency Of Search' option in the 

Options

Menu

.

Manual Search Mode

In the manual mode, the phone will present you with the
sorted list of networks. Use the 

*

#

 and 

O

 keys

to select one network from the list. Your phone will try to
register with the selected network. If this is successful, the
phone will display the network name and then enter the
standby mode.

If registration is unsuccessful, your phone will present the list
again after a preset period. The preset period is determined by
the 'Frequency Of Search' option in the 

Options Menu

.

Manual Selection During Operation

You can try to register with a new network at any time, see
the 'Show List Of Networks' option in the 

Options Menu
