Error Codes
Error codes are displayed on the LED when an error occurs. If multiple errors occur, the last
recorded error is displayed.
Table 4-3 defines the hardware error codes displayed on the LED:

Connected State
The state of the DCT* is either connected or disconnected. The connected state of the box is set
by a DCT-operations connect or disconnect message. The OSD displays DISCONNECTED when
the DCT* is in the disconnected state and CONNECTED when it is in the connected state.
PLATFORM ID
The PLATFORM ID is a 16-bit parameter used to differentiate between unique digital platform
images in the field. It is displayed in hexadecimal format. The PLATFORM ID is also referred to
as the ROM ID.
FAMILY ID
The FAMILY ID indicates DCT*’s manufacturer and product family. It is displayed in
hexadecimal format.
MODEL ID
The MODEL ID is the model of the set-top terminal. It is displayed in hexadecimal format.
